Each Tic Tac Toe multiplayer room holds two players. Rounds restart on their own and the first move alternates. If your friend disconnects, a bot quietly covers their moves; if they're gone for over 90 seconds they're marked as quit and you drop into a normal bot game.

How many people can join one room?
Two. Anyone else who opens the link is told the room is full and can play the bot instead.
What happens if my friend disconnects?
You'll see a "Player disconnected" message and a bot automatically plays their side so you're not stuck waiting. If they reconnect within a minute they simply take their seat back. If they don't respond for over 90 seconds, they're marked as quit and you're switched into a regular bot game.
What counts as "disconnected" versus "quit"?
Disconnected means no response for about 20 seconds — often just a lost connection, or your friend switching to Bot or Pass to Play mode themselves. Quit means over 90 seconds with no response at all, at which point the room resets and their seat opens up for a new player.
Can two people play on one phone?
Yes. Pass to Play is pass-and-play: take turns handing the phone back and forth, no sign-up and no second device needed.
Can I chat while playing?
Yes. Every multiplayer room has a built-in chat so you and your friend can talk during the game.
Can I beat the computer?
On Easy, Medium and Hard, yes. Extreme plays perfectly, so the best result against it is a draw.
What is the winning strategy?
Take the centre or a corner first, block any line your opponent is about to complete, and look for a move that creates two threats at once.
